Flow State, is a term coined by positive psychologist Mihály Csíkszentmihályi.

It describes a feeling where, you become fully immersed in whatever you are doing, where you experience energized focus, and enjoyment.

​The flow mental state generally arises during challenging and engaging activities. To stay in flow you need to consistently increase the challenge as your skills improve.
